Built in practiceMade inside a working firm

Three modules, one client list

Everything a small firm keeps track of, in the same book.

I.

Practice Manager

The center of the firm. Client identity, entities, contacts, documents, and notes live here, along with the deadlines, workflows, and billing that turn them into finished work.

  • Federal and state deadline tracking by client
  • Recurring workflows with assigned steps and hand-offs
  • Suggestions from QuickBooks Online data health and missing information
  • Client portal for invoices, documents, and messages

II.

Fixed Asset Manager

A client-by-client asset register with book and tax depreciation side by side, from acquisition through disposal. Built for the year-end questions that come up every year.

  • MACRS/GDS, Section 179, bonus, and convention testing
  • Straight-line and declining-balance book methods
  • Disposals with proceeds and gain or loss
  • Mid-life migration with prior depreciation, CSV import and export

III.

Amortization Calculator

Loan schedules you can hand to a client or tie to the books. Save each loan to the client it belongs to, with the note and statements attached.

  • Monthly, biweekly, semi-monthly, weekly, quarterly, and annual payments
  • Extra payments, balloons, and interest-only periods
  • Per-payment and yearly views, CSV export, and print
  • Loan documents stored with the client record

Why one suite

Enter the client once.

Most small firms run on a practice tool, a depreciation spreadsheet, and a loan calculator that never talk to each other. Midgard Suites shares one client list, one set of users, and one subscription across every module, so an asset or a loan is always attached to the right client.

It was built inside Midgard Ledgers, a bookkeeping and tax practice in Orlando, to run its own client work. Features come from real engagements, not a product roadmap guess.

Security

Client data handled the way your engagement letter promises.

Firm-level isolation

Every record carries your firm's ID, and the database itself checks membership on every query, so one firm can never read another's data.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Traffic runs over TLS, and stored data is encrypted by our hosting providers. Production and test systems are kept fully separate.

Roles and least privilege

Owners decide who on staff can see and change what. Administrative access on our side is limited to what support requires.

You own your data

Export at any time. After cancellation, data stays available for 30 days, then is deleted; backups expire within 90 days.

Read the Privacy Policy and License Agreement for the full details, including how tax return information is handled under IRC §7216.

FAQ

Questions firms ask first.

Who is Midgard Suites for?

Bookkeeping, tax, and accounting firms that want client records, deadlines, depreciation, and loan schedules in one place instead of spread across spreadsheets and separate tools.

How does the free trial work?

Every plan starts with 30 days free. You can switch plans during the trial, and your data stays in your firm account when you subscribe.

What counts as a license?

One license is one staff member who signs in. Each plan includes five. Add five more at a time for $10 a month, or $100 a year on annual billing.

Is Fixed Asset Manager available offline?

Yes. Alongside the web version there are macOS and Windows desktop editions that keep data on your own computer.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Your firm owns its data. You can export it while subscribed, and for 30 days after cancelling.

Does the software give tax advice?

No. It does the calculations and keeps the records; a qualified professional reviews the results and makes the calls.
